  • Demonstrate technical competence in Organisational Design and Change Management and take a practical / business-driven approach to solve complex client challenges.
  • Contribute to generating profitable revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients.
  • Lead project work-streams from planning through to implementation
  • Managing project resources and budgets effectively.
  • Be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions.
  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement.

  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior resources and peers and act as a visible role model for staff.
  • Review and analyse client requirements or problems and assist in developing proposals of cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
  • Manage project work streams with the support of senior team members, assisting with overall project / client management and daily project oversight and client communications.
  • Participate or lead teams in designing, developing and delivering consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects.
  • Design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations appropriate to the audience’s characteristics or needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities for follow-on work and new leads at an assigned client.
  • Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through on-the-job experience and participation in training opportunities.
  • Develop Centre of Excellence specific subject matter expertise.


  • Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology (registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist)
  • Substantive OD and HR consulting experience (at least 15 years) within a management consulting firm
    Proven track record and experience in leading large-scale OD/HR transformation projects and managing / building large teams
