Receptionist / Admin Assistant urgently needed: Salary R7 000 to R9 000 per month
DUTIES
Performing general receptionist duties (receiving visitors, answering incoming calls, etc.)
Placing of and follow up on orders, obtaining quotes (register, authorise, status feedback)
Maintaining and monitoring refreshment stock, stationery and cleaning reagents
Effectively managing and controlling stock of gas and orders for gas
Checking and processing delivery notes and invoices
Assist with sample receipt duties (in absence of Sample Receptionist)
Ensuring acceptable levels of housekeeping in respective work areas
Timeous & accurate reporting of work-related problems
Consistent meeting of set deadlines and completing given tasks (taking ownership and multi-tasking)
Learning new tasks and adapting easily and willingly to new procedures
Sharing and transferring technical information and skills with openness and willingness
Managing ad-hoc duties / responsibilities related to the general running of the lab effectively
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
At least Matric; ideally a post-matric certificate or diploma
At least five (5) years’ practical work experience in reception and/or office administration
Technical Experience:
Computer literacy
Behavioural:
Good communication skills to ensure quick resolution of problems
Self-management (incl. Time management)
Interpersonal skills
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Planning skills
